Reflexology for Menopause

In October 2021 I officially launched 'Reflexology for the Menopause'! I am now offering reflexology techniques and lifestyle ideas for supporting women through menopause. This covers the perimenopause, menopause and beyond. After your first appointment I will email you a leaflet, created by myself, with advice covering the five factors for healthy menopause; Diet, Exercise, Relaxation, Sleep and Purpose. This will simply summarise everything you need. There are specific reflexology techniques that can help someone suffering from menopausal symptoms.

In October 2022 I took part in an additional training course entitled 'Menopause: Facial, Hand and Foot Reflexology' with the London School of Reflexology (taught by Louise Keet and Ziggie Bergman). This ground breaking and transformative Menopause Zoom course is the first of its kind to use Reflexology to tone the zones from the head to the toes. My treatment plan will combine Facial & Foot Reflexology (although I can offer a one hour of foot reflexology) aimed at freeing energies along the longitudinal zones from the head to the feet. It focuses on key reflexes for common menopausal symptoms supported with a rationale in a unique and effective way that supports energy flow, along with the benefits of Reflexology. The focus of the treatment will aim to reduce symptoms on a physical, emotional and energetic level.

In September 2023 I am currently taking a course entitled 'Facial Reflexology for An Empowered Menopause' which is absolutely fascinating and will absolutely benefit my clients! Facial Reflexology techniques for general wellbeing, relaxation, sleep, stress & a few common perimenopause symptoms are incorporated in any facial reflexology treatment. I am always looking for new techniques / protocols to bring my clients the best treatment possible.

The benefit of taking part in very different reflexology courses for the Menopause means that you get the best of both worlds (i.e. three of London's best reflexology trainers!).

I highly recommend reading Dr Louise Newsons 'The Definitive Guide to the Perimenopause & Menopause' book if you get a chance. It is full of ideas, advice and experience from women who have been through the perimenopause and menopause. I also recommend following 'drshahzadiharper' on Instagram. She gives some great tips and advice for all things menopause related. You need to get in control of your stress levels, diet and lifestyle to make positive changes to your menopause journey (at a time that you feel least likely to want to make changes!).
